The main home, Spacious Oasis is perched atop a hill on 2 wooded acres with extraordinary views of the lake while the 2nd home is practically on the water! The view across the lake is of Sequoyah State Park where outdoor enthusiasts love the nearby hiking, picnicking, guided horseback trail rides, wildlife watching, golf, fishing and so much more! Be sure to stock up on supplies before coming so you can relax and unwind with your family and friends! This private oasis is large enough for everyone to enjoy their own space while also offering plenty of comfortable seating and gathering areas for enjoying the company of everyone in your group. This reservation will give you access to both homes. The main house is the Lake Escape and consists of... • 4 bedrooms with **3 king size beds!**and a bunkbed with twin over full beds. 1 bedroom on main floor, 1 in the loft, 2 downstairs. • 3 bathrooms consist of 2 en-suite bathrooms and a Jack and Jill bathroom • Completely remodeled chef’s kitchen is well-appointed with everything you’ll need • Panoramic views from the adjacent sunroom can’t be beat! The second home is our Tiny Home next to the lake and consists of...a fully remodeled studio with full kitchen, King bed and ensuite luxury bathroom with rain showerhead. • Lake views from the Hideaway can’t be beat! It is a bit of a trek to the Hideaway so plan accordingly. Relax in a variety of outdoor spaces! • Covered wraparound deck • Walk-out basement patio • Fire pit • BBQ grills-each property has their own • Picnic area down by the lake Enjoy breathtaking sunsets on the private dock while the more adventurous jump off the end of the dock, and make good use of the three kayaks and fishing poles that are waiting for you, along with a huge water mat! Fort Gibson Lake is a 20,000-surface-acre lake nestled in the hills of eastern Oklahoma, just 50 miles from Tulsa but far from civilization. With 225 miles of shoreline, this crystal-clear lake feels like your own private oasis (and is great for fishing!) Drive 30 minutes to Tahlequah for a relaxing float trip down the Illinois River. Afterwards, catch some live music & local craft beer at Kroner & Baer. Don’t miss The Gathering Place in Tulsa, a 66-acre riverfront park which was recently named USA Today’s Best New Attraction in the country. Lake Escape and The Hideaway @The Roadrunner Retreat are located just 21 miles from Talequah and Muskogee, OK. Be sure to stock up on supplies before coming, as you’ll be 15 minutes away from the nearest...anything. When you arrive enter through the white gated entrance, drive down a dirt road to the main house. There is parking in the circle driveway in front of the main house, and in the designated overflow parking marked The Hideaway. You can access each home through a self check in smart lock. We are available by phone, email, text and booking app. We have someone just 30 minutes away in case of emergency. **There is Wi-Fi at Main Home! **The Hideaway does not have wi-fi or a TV** Hence the name The Hideaway. Cell phones work really well here and you are welcome to bring a laptop and use your hotspot to stream movies if you prefer. If you need to park a boat, we have a boat slip for you! There are a number of options on the lake for boat rentals and just up the road is where you will be able to drop the boat into the water. Any firewood on the property is yours to use, as well as the opportunity to collect fallen branches. This is not guaranteed so we recommend you bring your own firewood(a good idea in case it has been raining) so you can have dry wood to enjoy as many smores as your heart desires! We provide 1 starter log in case you forget so you can enjoy a nice fire before having to go out and collect more.
